Hi guys, I just made my final adjustments before I get my new rig and I would like to know if it's ok. (I don't plan to Overclock anything).

CPU : Intel Core i5-4590 3.3 GHz 3.7Ghz Turbo LGA1150 Tray

CPU COOLER: Arctic Cooling Alpine 11 Rev. 2

MOTHERBOARD: Gigabyte GA-H81M-HD3 Front USB3

CASE + POWER SUPPLIER : SS PRECISION 08 + FSP HEXA 600W

CASE COOLER : EVERCOOL Spider 120mm + FILTER

RAM: Hynix Original 8GB DDR3 1600

GPU: Sapphire 7950 3GB GDDR5 HDMI RETAIL DUALX with Boost

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB SATA3

P.S: I live in europe and this is the most I can get out of my store, decided to go with the HD 7950 instead of the R9 270X, and if this is the wrong place to post that, please forgive me, because i could not find the proper forum. :)

I don't think you need that cooler for the i5. If you aren't overclocking (not possible on the i5-4590), then you don't need anything more than the stock cooler.

I wouldn't trust any power supply included in the case. Get a Seasonic or Antec or Corsair 500W power supply instead.

What is your budget for the GPU? I bet we can get something a lot better than that 7950, maybe Nvidia.

Hope that helps!

The CPU is kinda overkill, for gaming, go with the 4670/K. I would go with a corsair 200R and a Seasonic PSU. For RAM, go with G.Skill Sniper or Ripjaws/X. The 270X or a 280 will be more reliable and updated, preferably the MSI version.

You say the i5-4590 is overkill and recommend a 4670 or 4670k, but the 4670/k is more expensive and better, is it not?

Oh sorry, I thought he said 4690, but even then it is as almost all gamers recommend the 4670K for pure gaming

Ya, everyone does recommend that one. The Xeon e3 1230v3 also seems to be highly recommended for its multi-threaded capability, and similar price point as the 4670k. People often say it's basically an i7 4770k without the overclock capability and the integrated gpu.

Yeah the Xeon E3 1230v3 is an excellent CPU at a phenomenal price. It is essentially an underclocked i7-4770, and yet it costs $10-20 more than an i5-4670K.

I would go for it if your budget allows.

You'd recommend the Xeon over an i5 4670/k or i5 4690?

Yes. It is definitely a more powerful CPU, and it is a steal for the price.

I'm totally down to get it, if I can find a good Z97 that'll support it and that'll support Broadwell too.

I'm glad you think so too, the hyperthreading, nice out of box clock and turbo boost seem like a hell of a deal haha.

You can go with H97: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128712&cm_re=h97_motherboard-_-13-128-712-_-Product

Any H97 or Z97 board should support it. H97 and Z97 are required for Broadwell, so they should support that with just a bios update. :)

I feel bad hijacking this thread. Thank you for the extra input though, it's great to have your support and the support of the countless other readers on here. As for motherboards, I guess I want a high quality board that'll last me 5 years or so, both is capability and reliability/durability.
