Thought I'd start fresh by asking what are best components for running x-plane 10 on around a $1500 budget.

Also, as far as actually building the computer, how does one learn about the actual assembly process once the components are purchased?

Thanks in advance!

Case is something that looks good that i picked, but look for that yourself.
This pc is able to overclock too,if you don't want that let me/us know.
If windows isn't necessary could you take that off the list.

For building a pc,
http://uk.hardware.info/reviews/2591/build-your-own-pc-2011-edition
there are more to be found, also always read the manuals first.

Got those system requirements from here,

Wow Vic thanks so much for taking the time to post this!! It is very much appreciated ;)

Plus, overclocking this build would make it a beast.

Glad you like it.:D

Maybe that others have better idea's so wait a bit for maybe better suggestions. The promo code on that gpu however ends today so keep that in mind as well.Otherwise is there this very good one,
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/zotac-video-card-zt7020310p
not that much more expensive.Looking at the price difference could you wait.

Also don't know when you need it,but the 4790K is about to get in the stores, about end of juli afaik,so you could wait for that if you have the time.It should be better for overclocking. It's faster at stock speed too.
You would need an Z97 motherboard with that one though like this one,

MOBO- Asus Maximus VII Hero Z97 ATX 17500 INR
Processor- Intel I7 4790K 24500 INR
PSU- Corsair VS 650 or Better 5600 INR
GPU- Asus GTX-760 OC CU II 2GD5 18500 INR
Ram- Corsair vengeance 8GB DDR3 1600 MHz or more. 6500INR
Hard disk- WD 1Tb with 7200 RPM or Better N/A used old one.
Cabinet- Corsair Carbide Series
and Being as a Real World Pilot Too I would suggest not to put money on FSX and go for X plane 10.
Optical Drive- Whatever suits your Budget N/A used old one SATA
SSD- It's up to you if you want to use it or not. but better to go for one 500GB- Depends on brand

Runs FSX maxed out with minimum of 40 FPS and tested up to 60 FPS.
Runs X Plane with Most of The setting to High And very High very smoothly.
