Ok,so i did a clean install of a windows 7,i installed it on a 40 gb Maxtor HDD,i also had a 250 gb sata hdd connected and i have set the the sata in disk managment to be used as a D partition, everything worked fine i turned the pc off.
Next morning i tried to turn the pc on and windows wont load, its just that black screen with a blinking line.
So i went in BIOS and everything is in order PATA Maxtor containing windows set as master,SATA 1 connected,i set the pc to boot from the maxtor which contains freshly installed windows 7 64 bit
and nothing happens.

So im wondering is there anything i could do to avoid installing windows again?
