Oculus Rift Spec Help

Solution
Your machine should be good enough for DV2 as oculus rift is the equivalent of running a 1080p monitor in front of both your eyes, I have only made a few minor changes, like changing the amount of RAM you are getting as you don't need 16GB for gaming and with the amount saved, added an SSD which will mean that your computer will be a lot faster :D but apart from that it looks pretty good.

i currently have 8gb installed and have not got round to selling my other 8gb also the reason i dont get an ssd is because i always sleep my computer never properly switch it off also load times do not fuss me to much , however i may upgrade later

do you think the DK2 is any good ? as im paying somthing like 240 pounds inc shipping

DK2 is a lot better than DK1 as the screens have a much higher resolution per eye which will make it a much more pleasant experience using then to be honest. If you already have 16GB of RAM then just install it all in your computer and be done with it, rather than selling it. A SSD will also improve the time it takes for programs to open if you install them on the SSD which is the other reason that people get them.
