I have figured out where the problem lies with my computer, that being my 2TB WD Black Caviar hard drive with a damaged block percentage of 13+ %. (according to HD Tune)
I tried switching the cables and controller slots, but it seems like the Hard drive really is broken.
Is there a way to retrieve all my important documents, pictures and files unto my tertiary hard drive (1 TB WD Green caviar)? Whenever I plug my 2TB Black Caviar to the rest of my rig, everything stops working. I am lucky if the computer boots, and when it does it cannot do anything at all! (It just sits on the dekstop. None of the programs open).
