After looking around, it seems building my own computer is the better option. I will want a build that is capable of playing CoD, heavily modded minecraft, and B4 on high settings, and my budget is around 800 dollars. I already have poor speakers, mouse, keyboard, and sound systems that I will use until I am capable of upgrading. Please let me know your recommendations.

[strike]I have a minimal knowledge of hardware, and absolutely no experience in buying computers. The only experience I have had is building a school/work computer with my uncle a while back.

I have been scanning through used computers on ebay in hopes of finding a cheap computer that will run games with decent-max settings. I found this one for $580, here is the specs:

FX-6200 Black Edition 3.8 Ghz socket AM3+ Boxed Processor
Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model BLS8G3D1609DS1S00
GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-S2P(rev 5.0) AM3+ AMD 760G + SB710 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
XFX HD-575X-ZNFR Radeon HD 5750 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
Western Digital WD Blue WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
LITE-ON DVD Burner - Bulk 24X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 12X DVD+R DL 24X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM Black SATA Model iHAS124-04 - OEM
CORSAIR CX series CX430 430W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply
LOGISYS CLK12RD2 12 inch Dual Red Cold Cathode Light
Cooler Master Elite 430 Red Edition - Mid Tower Computer Case with Windowed Side Panel and All-Black Interior
Operation System Microsoft Windows 8 Pro 64 Bit - Pre-Installed Only

From what I can tell, it is pretty good, and although it is effective, the video card is outdated. But you guys are the experts, and I could be absolutely wrong in my assessment. Is this a good computer to play modern games, and is it worth $580 used?

Thanks![/strike]
