Possible Faulty PSU?

Hi everyone, i'm having a problem and can't identify what's wrong. My computer shuts off randomly, this happens any time, in boot process or in windows. There are no error codes from the mobo or BSOD.
I've tried scanning for virus's, physically cleaning inside, unplugging the non-essentials including the graphics card and running with onboard, checking the mobo for popped capacitors, speedfan reports all temps way within acceptable ranges. I'm thinking it's the PSU on the brink, hopefully not the motherboard.
I've opened up hwmonitor, speccy and speedfan then took a screenshot, could somebody take a look please to see if in acceptable ranges? or any suggestions?
Thanks.

PSU - Corsair CX500w
No sadly i can't ask a friend, that's why i'm asking for advice here, next step will be buying whatever part i need. Pretty sure it's a hardware fault, only thing i can think of it being now is the PSU but looking for advice just to be sure and not get the wrong part as i'm short on cash at the moment :/ ...when it rains it pours!

From what you describe it does sound like the PSU even though the voltages are fine (screen shots).

Well i'm not sure about voltages, i thought the +5v being @ 3.6v was a problem because i thought they had to be within a 5% range of difference - / + % ? It's not something i'm too savvy about though. Best way i can describe it is if i'm in windows, doing anything, no paticular reason / program etc, i hear a little 'pip' sound coming from the case, the screen then freezes / hangs as well as the mouse... around 5 seconds after it just shuts off. Then again i don't have to be in windows for this to happen, it's happened during boot and it's happened just while i was looking in bios. I'm using the computer now, it can be fine for awhile then randomly it'll shut off the way i described. Wish i had more to go on, the event viewer shows nothing, i've set it to create a minidump but it doesn't, no BSOD as i've already said or beep codes from the mobo :( so frustrating!

I don't really have the option to try a different psu though :/ is there any other solutions you can think of or possible reasons for this happening? Want to be as sure as I can be before I buy a new psu. Also any recommendations on a psu? 5-600w budget around £50. Thanks.

Ugh :( so I borrowed a working psu from a friend, switched it out and powered on and it kept cycling power, shutting on and off. Then after a few cycles it actually powered on and started post, with an error message saying something like boot was screwed up because of changes in voltages or overclocking, I hit DEL to enter bios, screen went black and said "warning: main bios checksum error. Retrieving backup.. Done. Writing Bios image.." stopped while writing image by losing power :( now the pc is just black screen, won't go to post or anything. I've taken out the CMOS battery in hopes it'll reset.. But I guess its had it and its a motherboard failure..? Any bright ideas anyone? :(
