Got my 8350 a few days ago, and its surpassing 60 degrees celsius. When I Alt+Tab from Battlefield 3 to AMD Overdrive, however, it goes from 60 celsius to about 38 celsius in a few seconds....so is it possibly that the temps are being incorrectly read? All answers appreciated.

Side note: My North Bridge on my Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 is scalding hot. Literally, I touched it. Should it be getting this warm?

EDIT: So I disabled the Turbo option which was bumping me to 1.4 volts whenever it was engaged and now my temps are staying at a safe 48 celsius while heavily gaming. that brings up another question though, why would it go from 1.33 volts to 1.41 volts for a tiny 200 MHz boost? Thanks!!!!

Solution
What are the idle temperatures? Hovering over low 60s is a bit high but still alright. Also the stock cooler isn't a very good to keep on the 8350. I suggest maybe getting the 212 evo or something.

Idle its in the 26-30 range, and I thought about getting that. Looks like I may have to.
