I was doing last touches with my documents before I went to work. I didnt notice the time so i needed to hurry. I turned off the computer, like normal people would do. I waited around 10 seconds to see that my screen was black shut, the mouse was off, the keyboard was unusable. But here comes my CPU, it was still running, fans was spinning, just like a turned on CPU. Shouldnt CPU's turn off after shut down?

It was at this state for 5 mins or so.
And no, it was not showing "installing updates" or something, the screen went shut directly.

Are you sure you shut the PC down and didn't put it to sleep/hibernate? It sounds like it's writing the memory to disk before powering down. That's exactly what it would do if you told it to enter hybrid sleep/hibernate...

um yes that what its going to do. But i changed my settings in the power button. I removed my "sleep" option.
When i click the power button (win 8) the only option i got is restart or Shut down. And yes. i did click shut down.
