Connecting to computers

I have two computers running windows 8.1. I want to connect these two pcs for sharing files, broadband network and printer.
How should I do this?

you should just connect the both to your home network and enable file sharing, if you don't have a network you can just plug in a CAT 5/6 Cable to both pc's
