I currently have a TP-LINK TL-WDN3800 which is getting poor signal due to being far from the router. So I have decided I will buy and antenna with an extension cable, was just wondering if I have to buy and antenna with the same dBi gain. My current antennas are 2 x 2dBi will I be able to use an 8dBi ect.. and if you got time could you explain what dBi is. If not a simple yes or no to the question will do
