Hello. Ive been thinking of using an MSI gtx 780 lightning card for my upcoming build in the bitfenix prodigy mini itx. But, will it fit? Im not worried about length, but height, as it is supposed to take up 2 and a half pci slot brackets when the prodigy only has 2. Thanks.

it utilizes two slots, but the extra 1/2 just hangs over the other slots so that won't be an issue.

Two questions remain;

-How much space do you have from end of case to HDD bay?

-Is there anything obstructing if it fits (Since it is 2 1/2 slots, what could prevent the extra 1/2 to fit?)

This will be answered by you. So;

1) Measure from bracket to first obstruction, that will give you an idea of how much space you have

2) Measure the clearance from where the extra 1/2 slot cooler hangs out.

There is no confirmed "yes" answer yet.

Bitfenix says this;

On the inside, our modular FlexCage™ gives you the flexibility to install up to five 3.5" hard disks or 2.5" SSDs, or remove it entirely to fit up to 240mm watercooling radiators and long graphics cards.

This does say it may fit the lightning card.

Out of interest, what do you fellers think of the Gigabytes GTX 780 Ghz OC edition? It seems like a pretty fantastic alternative from what I´ve read, and intact, it comes out with a higher out of box OC than the Lightning and mostly preforms quieter and better.
