Well depending on what games you play you might be fine with the 1x8gb 1600mhz ram... but if you find you need a bit more performance then I'd suggest replacing it with either 2x4gb or 2x8gb ram at 1866 / 2133 / 2400mhz speeds, depending on what ram speeds the motherboard can support. The A8 & A10 series APUs really benefit from faster ram.

In regards with the ram, how do I get it to 1833mhz? Do I remove the old one with a better ram or buy the same one and stick it in the free slot?

Hi

I only play steam games, nothing else. Also a bit of web surfing. So A10-6800K it is then! Unless someone can point me in another direction with a budget of £300.00
