Unless you were, for whatever reason, running the OS off the CD. Once you click REBOOT, it issues the command to reboot, there is no stopping it. Upvote 0 Downvote

To cancel a reboot: open a command prompt as an administrator and type: shutdown -a Use shutdown /? for help on the shutdown command. Upvote 0 Downvote
