Hello everyone.

I have some problems with my videocard,Sapphire HD 7750 1 GB GDDR5.. Whenever i try to update drivers from 13.12 to 14.4 or any beta driver above i get this problem; my system says that my card is an R7 200 series,and it keep crashing with blue error screen saying something like "ati_threat not handled"... Someone have this issues too? And how i can solve this? Since i really would like to get latest drivers...
My pc specs;

Amd 965 BE 4 x 3.4 Ghz (with an Cooler Master hyper 212 evo)
Asrock 970 Extreme3
Sapphire HD 7750 1 GB GDDR5 (Connected with VGA port to an Acer x193w)
Corsair 4 GB 2x2 1333 Mhz Ram
Corsair CX 600 80+ Bronze
Windows 8.1 32 Bit

Thanks!

also AMD gives you other drivers with the vid-card drivers so when you install the cards driver [13.12 &14.x] you also install there hidden drivers on amd boards so if the non card drivers that are being installed and it causes a issue well I guess that's too bad for you ... I run a intel board and noticed these AMD files that were kinda out of place so I opened them up and googled what was in them it was like usb chipset and something else that had nothing to do with the card ... so there you go good luck

Thanks for reply.. And, thats kinda lame (i mean hidden drivers ecc) ...Still when i try to update drivers i always do "custom installation" so i can choose what i want and what not...

I don't know what AMD is doing but there are a heck of of lot of 14.x drivers issues posted here at toms I just went back to 13.4 after I helped a guy with the 14.x and just downloaded it to see if I had issues with it myself and I had one small one but all else went good with it for me uninstalled reinstalled and ran it around for a day .. I run a 7850 and it did not change that as it did you still showed as a 7850 all around , but the issue I had with it was it would crash IE11 sometimes when I would exit it with a atidxx.dll error ....

I am disappointed with amd in last times,i mean,they do awesome videocards for good price,but with drivers they are just bad...I hope they will fix this soon,otherwise,i will get an 750ti (since i see a lot of awesome performance boosts with nvidia gaming drivers)

I don't know -- as I said 14.x worked ok for me except for that one issue what I think is that extra stuff is meant for folks with the onboard stuff and it maybe screwing with the rest of the amd chipset boards .. don't know the only other thing I can think of is if its a uefi issue with the driver in some way[??]

I removed the 14.x driver and fixed the IE thing and went back to 13.4

I don't get how it changes your cards ID from 7xxx to a r card? did not do mine that way
