Hello

I'm looking to purchase my first gaming pc in the coming month and I have roughly a £700 budget. Even though I could build my own, I'd rather buy already built. I will mostly be using to play games

I've seen this on a website which looks to me that its a lot of PC for £700

http://www.chillblast.com/Chillblast-Fusion-Slipstream-Z97-Haswell-Gaming-PC.html

When I compared it to same/similar parts when building, it actually came out more expensive.

Could you please give me some advice on wether the built system is any good?

Thanks

Retailers gets parts cheaper at wholesale prices. So retail prices are always expensive .

Isnt that Chillblast better than that. For £13 more I can get it built and have an SSD as well

The only bad thing with the chillblast is the power supply. It is a cheap power supply that can risk breaking your pc components. That is why i dislike pre built options. You have no choice with power supply which is the most important unit in a pc.
The R9 280X and GTX 770 performance similarly. Either gpu is fine. Motherboard choices doesn't matter much between the two.
