Hi all, very recently I bought the gtx 750 ti, fx 4350 4.2 ghz processor and a new motherboard which is the 78LMT-USB3 rev 5.0. Luckily I managed to get all the parts working and installed all the drivers. However one problem is the start up is super slow and I don't have a clue why, after the startup my pc is pretty quick. I've done the closed a load of start up programs so I know that isnt the problem. If anybody has any suggestions then all would be appreciated.

Does it speed up eventually? Also what fan do you have on your cpu and what are the rest of your specs?
My computer does this sometimes when I've left it off overnight and all the components have gone a bit too cold, usually sorts itself out in 5 or so minutes.

I have EVGA 500w PSU and 8 GB DDR3 1333 RAM. As for the fan I literally bought on Saturday so not had any time to get one which sounds less like a motorbike :p , however I will eventually get one which is quieter but obviously just depends on money right now.

Download speedfan and check your temperature on start up. What normally happens is that the voltage going through the components creates heat, this is then cooled by the fans. What I think is happening is that your computer is taking a while speeding up due to the components being on the lower side/below their ideal temperature range. I would recommend downloading speedfan and seeing if you can see what the temps are on startup.
