Well i can't choose between those two boards. I want to oveclock my fx 8320 to 4.5 ghz or if possible higher. But i don't know which one will handle it better. I know the asus has a 6+2 power phase and the gigabyte a 8+2. But i have read good things about the asus and gigabyte as well.
So which one?

Solution
Each is 8+2 (or technically, 4+1[x2]) -- the doubling of phases providing a more stable power delivery. Asus adds a "+2" (or 8+2+2), the extra presumably for "two digital voltage controllers allowing ultra-precise DRAM tuning in addition to ultra-precise CPU voltage control"

My personal opinion (not worth much :)) is that Gigabyte OCs higher but is more finicky with RAMs; Asus being more stable at higher speeds with better memory integration.

So. There.
Glad I could be of no help :D
