I'm new to PC gaming and I'm just wondering what GPU I should get out of these...
I'm aiming at being able to play BF4 maxed out @60 fps so which card will you guys recommend?
For the 270X I'm thinking of going with the Toxic from Sapphire as it seems to be a solid card... Not sure how the 760 performs in BF4, but I imagine it's a little slower than the 270X with mantle :p
If the 270X isn't powerful enough then the next step up in price would be the 280 (non X) then the 280X and the most expensive choice would be the 770 :p
then my question is: which GPU is best for me ?

Solution
I would say a 280 since it has the 3gb of vram. But I own a 7950 overclocked to 1100/1600 and get about 50 to 60 fps on ultra @ 1080p with fxaa off using DirectX. I dont use mantle because it has too much intermittent stuttering for me.

Hey Buddy.. i dont have much experience with the other cards but i run a gtx 760 @ more than 60 fps on ultra on BF4 with an fx 8350 oc'd to 4.2ghz... all i can say to you is dont get a gtx 770 get a 760 because you really wont see a performance difference for the price difference!

How much exactly have you overclocked the GPU? My setup (in my signature) can only do about 45 fps on average on ultra.

I recommend going with the R9 280X since it's as powerful as the GTX 770 but costs less.

Is that with the newest drivers for Nvidia? because It looked like those gave a pretty good performance boost, just not sure if it was enough to keep up with mantle :p thing though is that the 280 (non-X) costs pretty much the same as the 760 and I think that from what I've seen the 280 beats the 760 across the board... so I guess the question really is R9 270X toxic or R9 280?

thanks for all the answers, guess I just have to think this over and evaluate my budget a couple of times :p I've seen the Toxic get average frames of 64 on BF4 as well and at high preset it apparently runs over 80 fps so I'm really not sure what I'll do but thanks for all the feedback!
