Hello,

I have a custom built PC and after Reinstalling Windows (Formatted C: and D: ) I couldn't access the Internet. I checked the device manager and there were no drivers installed. I downloaded the official Ethernet driver from Gigabyte, but I couldn't install it. It told me there is no Atheros components found. I downloaded inofficial drivers from atheros.cz, but the "Install" options wouldn't work so I used Device Manager and did the "Have Disk..." method. It didn't finish succesfully, giving me Error Code 10 ( something like "couldn't start device".

Specs:

Windows 7 64-Bit
CPU: i5-2400 @ 3.2GHZ
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 4850 OCed
4GB RAM
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-H61M-D52

Please help me as I need to talk via Skype in a few hours!

Thanks, Serho55

You used these?
http://download.gigabyte.asia/FileList/Driver/mb_driver_lan_atheros_813x_815x_816x.exe

http://download.gigabyte.eu/FileList/Driver/mb_driver_lan_atheros_813x_815x_816x.exe

? I assume so, can't understand why it shouldn't work.

Seem to be multiple revisions of the board, maybe that could have something to do with it? Know which one you have and whatever anything have changed?

Those above was for revision 1.0.

Oh, that's likely it. Rev 1.0 have Atheros.

Rev 4.0 have RealTek, drivers for that...

Good luck :)
