Samsung 840 evo R.A.P.I.D explained

I think rapid is weird, because if we can only have 600MB/s over a sata 6Gb/s line, how can it run at 1000MB/s? If the limit is 600, why 1000? Feels weird, Also i dont notice that big of a bump up in performance when turning it on.

its using ram not ssd flash. right now its limited to 1 gb of you system ram.
i love the idea but think it should be 5 gb and not limited to samsung.
think it has an better effect after a few repeated runs or game loading.

If it is not using ssd flash, how do i load my game on the ram then? lets say i load a 20gb game on 1gb ram? Whuttt?

Edit: Oh wait, is the ram like a cache for the ssd flash?

sorry for invading your thread, just got the samsung 840 evo today, so should i enable this feature? any downsides to it?
