So I bought this laptop about 2 years ago:

The only thing that I have changed to it, was the hard-drive to an Samsung 840 Pro 512GB since the original hard-drive would get really hot and was slow. Anyhow the fan started making some noise after about 3 months of usage and it is finally dying out after 36 months. I am buying a new fan to replace it, but as a precaution I want to buy some good compound for a laptop since I was unable to find any thermal paste in Mexico when I bought it there.

Now I have used Zalman grease that came in a finger nail polish like container for my PC builds:

However being a laptop and the fact that it runs hotter I believe not to mention the fact that it is a pain in the ass to take apart, what is something you would recommend that would serve me well if I dont plan on taking it apart to reapply paste every six months. Something permanent I guess.

Edited: Sorry for the ambiguity I am not buying a new laptop, just replacing the fan =D

From a cooling point of view, all products will do the job about equally well.

I might use arctic silver 5. It gets better with age, needing 200 on/off cycles to reach full effectiveness. Past that, I don't know.

Also, a new laptop will be using newer technology and can be expected to run cooler.
I would not think you need to plan on ever reseating the new cooler.
