Just wondering. ( Imagine using V-sync on a 60Hz screen while the game averages at 90 fps without )
I also know that some games have options like "triple buffering V-sync", so that makes me wonder if V-sync is actually just limiting the graphical output, or wether it has to work to actually achieve this stable framerate.
