Hi,
Recently I cleaned my second 1TB hard drive on accident using Diskpart in Command Prompt. After doing this I went on Disk Management and set the drive to active. After the wizard popped up I went through it but selected not to reformat. I would like to know if it is possible for me to recover the data on my hard drive. I have started a quick scan using test disk but so far (73%) it has only showed this:

Thanks in Advance,

It looks like TestDisk has discovered a boot sector template inside a system file rather than a genuine boot sector.

Instead, try Partition Find & Mount:

You could also examine your drive with a disc editor (eg DMDE freeware) in readonly mode.

Hi,
Thanks for the response but after the scan and rebooting, Windows said it was repairing the drive and the drive now works fine.
Now I just have to figure out why it wants to back up both my hard drives :p that is a question for another post though.
