I was trying to replace the top panel (keyboard, trackpad) and the last screw is stuck. The screw is on the optical drive side of the macbook. It is the screw farthest from the optical drive, NOT the one closest to the optical drive. The screw on the right:

Thanks in advance :D

Is it stuck because the head is stripped?

If yes, first off what type of screw head is that? The first thing to try is different screw drivers and very careful force.

Then you can try buying a really cheap screwdriver and some metal bonding resin and then carefully glue the screwdriver to the screw. Failing that... it's dremmel time baby!

The head isn't stripped it's just stuck. the screw is a 5.2mm Phillips #00 and I have the right screw driver. Would using a drill help, and if so what do I do?

You mean you just can't turn the screwdriver?

Well, physics man! Get some leverage on it!

Tried for 30 min with no avail. Stuck a kitchen knife in it and it worked. Ok...
