why an H87 with an unlocked CPU?
get a Z87 mobo or change your CPU to a 4670

Very good point i missed that.
OP: the "H" series chipset isn't for overclocking, but your processor is.
the "K" in your processor means it's an "overclocking" version

so get the "Z" motherboard with the "K" processor OR the "H" motherboard with a processor without the "K"
