Some one recommended me to get the Fx-6300.

This is a cheap build and I mostly play mobas, never anything that possibly requires a CD to play.

And isn't the 760k faster then the 6300?

I would recommend the fx 6300 instead of your 760 for a few reasons. The fx 6300 has the same single-core performance, and because it has more cores, then it will be better for multitasking. It also will allow for more upgrading later on.
Plus the FX 6300 has L3 Cache, which will benefit in many games.
