Hello,

I had a HDD crash around begin april, and after a few tries to make it work, we decided to buy a new HDD. and here comes my problem, after the new HDD I installed for what I know most of the drivers.

Some information:
My laptop is a Asus windows 7 64bit.
It has a I7 processor, nvidia Geforce 610M 2gb graphic card, and 4 GB RAM DDR3.
My old HDD was a 500GB seagate with 5400RPM, and the current one is a 750 GB WD and also 5400RMP. ( if any more info needed about HDD post it so I can add)

On my old HDD I could run CoD2 with a good 120FPS ( the game set it to 80 and you can change it to what ever you want) I could also keep up with 333( it wasn't stable but it would keep up really good not go lower than 325fps), and with I could handle very busy moments with alot of explosions.
also I could play Shaiya in PvP (player vs player) with a FPS of 40-60FPS, not to sure, with effects/capes/helmets option on, which is alot of frames since the effect on the weapon has some kind of glow, now imagine that with 60people at the same spot. and in auction house ( a verry bussy place) I could keep up with also around 50 while walking around.
And with Minecraft I noticed that the game became slower after well I geuss 45mins of playing but it wasn't drasticly it was just taking more memory.

I haven't tried to play any of my other games with my new HDD ( as to trackmania Gary's mod and some I forgot I don't play alot of games :p)

Now with my current HDD when I play CoD2 and look at the FPS it is mostly between 50-70 FPS, now wiht some exploisons and some lot of players it can drop down to 28-48 FPS which is drasticly lower than my old fps.
Now with shaiya I haven't PvP'd but in auction House my FPS is around 40 standing still and not looking around, but when I look around and walk it goes down to 15-30fps.
And with Minecraft it goes slow after like probs 20mins.

also when watching some anime for a few eps I notice my fan is blowing harder than on my old HDD.

I got a program from a friend of mine which could see if I missed some important drivers I did miss some and installed them.

I have no idea from my old HDD since it was pre-installed when I bought it, but on my old HDD I downloaded them from the asus website.
and no the only thing I did to the game l was the resolution, nothing else change, just installed changed the resolution to my screen and play.

There's a good chance the games autodetected different setting before. You might be running on high textures and anti aliasing or something now which would lower your fps a decent bit. It could also be different drivers, try going to nvidias site and download new drivers.

well I think thats a bit weird since I installed the game and only adjusted the resolution, on both new and old HDD.

either setting ona driver or I am missing a driver ( that is atleast what I think)
