This will be my first build and have been researching for the past week. I would have to like to keep it under $900 but this is what I liked soi'll go with it. I put 2 hdd's in it because i can't choose between them but I'll only be purchasing 1 of them.
Any suggestions or alternatives to any of the components? Does it look alright?

I was looking at that gigabyte motherboard too. The price must have gone down since last week or something. What's wring with the geforce gtx 750ti? Or the the cpu the problem?

The GPU question is really easy to answer. Simply because the R9 270 beats it

but as for the CPU, it gets a little tougher. AMd vs Intel. Both offer many good features, some out weighing some, but in terms of gaming, their performance differs in many many games. and gaming performance is a maximum of 8 FPS lost or so.
You could pick the Fx-8320 instead, it's just that I prefer the i5-4460
