Yes hello I'm thinking about investing in a NZXT kraken g10 gpu bracket and corsair H50 cpu closed loop water cooling solution for the gpu. My question is, when I take this card apart (I'm already aware of the warranty) I know to replace the stock thermal past with new paste (arctic silver 5) however am I to add paste on the VRM and memory modules as well? do I keep the thermal pads on the card or discard them? Do I invest in small heatsinks for the modules/mosfets?

or is it all good as is meaning add new thermal paste to the gpu, replace, and let the kraken g10 90mm fan cool the VRM on its own?

Thanks

Yea same here I never trusted fans to cool the gpu either, coupled with good brand thermal paste and a water cooling solution you are better off, especially if you are overclocking at all :)

The part that is not clear what you mentioned was from your first reply "Memory not so much, VRMs will need cooling. I'm not familiar with that cooler but I wouldn't trust a fan on the GPU to cool the VRMs. Not anymore anyways".

I am not using a fan to cool the gpu I'm using a water cooling solution combining NZXT's gpu bracket with corsair's H50 seen here.

The cooler here:

this should clear up any confusion.

Did you read the spec tab on your newegg link?

92 mm fan included to provide addition VRM cooling

It looks like that is just a bracket with a fan for everything else. You'll still need a pump as well. But it also comes with that fan on the side to cool the VRMs so you should be good. Depending on your card you might need some generic sinks for the VRMs. Ram will most likely be fine.

correct and I'm already aware of this as of my previous post when I linked you the h50 pump that I will be using, I think I'm just gonna stick with thermal pads for the memory modules and vrm. Thanks for your effort and thought anyway.
