Which combination will be better?
1. Intel i5 4670k with Asus Z87-Pro
or
2. Intel i7 4770k with Asus Z87-K
Things to consider (sorted by priority):
1. Stability
2. Future proof
3. Lower TDP
4. Overclock potential
5. 2 GPU (say GTX 780 TI) SLI
I will be running (simultaniously):
1. High end game current gen game (like WATCH_DOGS)
2. Shadowplay (to record)
3. IDM Downloads
3. Torrent (download+seed)
4. Apache Tomcat (over internet)
5. Music playing
etc.
I use:
1. Photoshop
2. Netbeans + Dreamweaver (simultaniously)
3. MS Word
4. MS Excel
etc.
Please don't say:
1. Intel i7 4770k + Asus Z87-Pro (exceeds budget)
2. Get a new PSU
3. Get a new GPU
4. Get a custom cooler (I wouldn't be overclocking from start, maybe later, think then)
