asrock z87 - pro4
evga gtx 780 classified
hyper 212 evo
2x4 G.Skill
samsung 840 pro 128 gb
cooler master gx 750w

(planing to OC cpu @ 4.2 or 4.3 only if needed)

Yeah I'd definitely suggest getting a new PSU. If you read that article, that GX won't handle the loads required by a GTX 780. You could use it but then again if you're using a high end GPU you definitely want something better.

I would suggest this for your budget:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($233.98 @ SuperBiiz)
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U9B SE2 37.9 CFM CPU Cooler ($49.99 @...

You don't want to trust a GTX 780 to a Cooler Master GX - these are some of the absolute worst power supplies on the market you can buy (read: http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Cooler-Master-GX-750-W-Power-Supply-Review/917 ). You want at least a Cooler Master V series, or better would be a Seasonic G series, or a EVGA G2. I would also suggest investing in a better cooler like a Noctua U9B or D14, or closed liquid loop like NZXT Kraken X60 or Thermaltake Water 3.0 Extreme. What is your budget?

Build will max out all games.

Agree to get a better power supply from Seasonic, XFX (seasonic internals), corsair (not cx series).

If doing minor overclocking the hyper 212 will be just fine, if you are trying to push the cpu to max then you should go for liquid cooling.

Yeah that EVGA G2 is great, I just got one last week and it's an incredibly solid PSU. Definitely worth every penny I paid for it.
