I have 8GB of RAM. Its not overheating because i have a cooling pad. I'm trying to record them using FRAPS, but i cant with it running so slow. It ruins the whole video at. What can i do to make the games run normally? I have even tried turning down the quality of the game.

There are multiple models of that laptop. Download CPU-Z: http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html

Post screenshots of the 'CPU', 'memory' and 'graphics' tabs.

I don't know how to put the screenshots on here.

Looking at the specs online this laptop isn't really built for gaming. The graphic card and processor are pretty bad, that will be draining your performance.

Problem is that I used this laptop to game on before with less RAM, and it worked fine.

Then why don't you just take the RAM away then?

Because I don't think the RAM is the problem. I tried without the extra RAM and it is still running slow.

Well the issue probably is that you don't have a dedicated GPU, only the integrated one of the i3. I'm also fairly sure that recording takes a toll on your CPU as well, and that CPU isn't that great. There's pretty much nothing you can do.

There could be a few possibilities causing this issue.
Firstly, you are using integrated graphics on an i3. This chip isn't designed for 3D games, it's designed for daily average use (word processing, browsing the web) so it gets overrun when you try to throw games at it.
Secondly, this is a laptop, therefore you're probably using a single hard drive. Conventional hard drives have trouble when you try to read and write at the same time excessively.
Read= Game
Write= Video file

Ultimately, that laptop was not built to game. Get a desktop or a gaming laptop if you want to do so.

PS: Regardless of the amount of ram you have, a slow CPU or no GPU will bottleneck your gaming experience.

That Laptop is not even remotely designed for Gaming...
