APU vs CPU+GPU?

Hey, I don't know if I should buy a Athlon 760k + R7 260x dedicated graphics card for a 200$ combined cost.

Or

a 200$ APU that has R7 260x intergrated graphics.

Pretty sure the APU performs better then the 760k.

The APU came out in 2014.

the cpu & gpu combo would be more powerful.

although the CPU part of the a10 is better than the athlon 760k,
the r7 260x is more powerful than the a10, which has somewhere between a r7 240 and r7 250
