Hi all, recently I bought the fx 4350 4.2 ghz processor. This was an upgrade from my 95W 4100. However one issue I am having with the new heatsink is how loud the thing is. I had to take a break from Far Cry 3 because of how loud it is. Does anyone know what this is the reason? Maybe I could swap out the heatsink for the 95W one? Thanks in advance.

Solution
Don't swap the heatsink. For one thing, the heatsinks aren't making the noise; the fans are. For another, assuming they're not identical, the risk is that the older heat sink won't be able to handle the heat from your newer CPU. Same goes for the heatsink fans, you'd run the risk of the older fan not being able to handle the heat.
