PC restarting during games

Troubleshooting my pc outreaches all the minimum requirements for some new games but restarts the instant they load ...

Computer started out as a HP pavilion elite (intel i7, 8gb ram), i've since upgraded the graphics card to an nvidia gtx 750 and installed improved fans, that was about 6 months ago and it's since run skyrim HD, assasins creed 4 and a load of others on highest graphical settings with no problems and a minimal temp rise.

Now however i go to play watchdogs, wolfenstein or skyrim with a few added mods (mods working okay before) and anything above lowest settings, as soon as the game gets past the load screen the pc restarts and never shows an error message.

I've updated the drivers and checked temp which has barely gone up and the fans never go above idle plus the game doesn't have any time to actually run to overheat so that's ruled out. I'm guessing it's the PSU but wanted another opinion before i fork out for a new one. If it is that any recommendations of something reasonably future proof?

With all these detail, I can tell you something is not working.
  2. My guess is it's your power supply... but if you could provide your complete system specs it would help out a lot.
