So I have just built my first computer (Hackintosh) and I wanted to give it a new graphics card. I found a R9 280X that was $180. I am now wondering will this work with my PSU or do I need to upgrade.

Here is the link to the build.

Any help would be great.

For some reason this was posted to the wrong forum meant to put it in the power supply forum.

A Radeon R9-280X needs at least 30 amps on the 12v rail and a 550 watt power supply.

The CS550 has 43 amps on the 12v rail and the 2 needed PCIE connections , and is more than sufficient to power your build.
