Okay, so I overclocked my AMD FX 8320 from 3.5GHz to 4.0GHz, using AMD Overdrive, however when it loads up in my BIOS, I see my stock speeds, and when I go to "My computer" it also shows my default speeds.

Is there a way to fix this, and does this mean that the overclock wasn't successful? I'm quite confused... A solution would be appreciated :)

AMD overdrive overclocks in userspace, which means the overclock happens after the PC is booted, so while in the BIOS the CPU isn't overclocked. The overclock will also only last for as long as the PC is booted, and will restart on reboot. I recommend overclocking from the BIOS.

Try overclocking with overdrive then, without restarting the computer, check the speed with CPU-Z or in Windows task manager.
