can i plug pcie x16 into the agp card slot? will it work? as my motherboard does not have pcie x 8 slot. if not then whats the solution??

nope, unfortunately you will either need a PCI GPU if you have standard PCI slots or find an AGP GPU. Otherwise time for a new motherboard. They are not compatible and can't fit physically.
