I have an asus g74sx and I need to reinstall windows because it's corrupted f9dosent work did it once sucsecfully but it won't work it just freezes and shuts down when I try f9 agian. I got a reinstall disc and it won't boot it. when it goes to the curser screen it stays there for a while and or says reboot and select proper boot device or insert media and press any key so i REinsert it and press a key it ether says the message over agian or it seems like it try's to do somthing and it just keeps stacking the message and sometimes it goes right passed it and goes to the f9screen and doesn't load anything but the background and then the screen just goes black and crashes no bsod it just shuts off and this is not the only disc i tryed iv been trying to fix this for a while some one please help

When Windows is installed, even when it won't run, your PC will not boot from a CD or DVD until you select the CD drive in the boot device menu, or put the CD drive at the top of the boot device sequence in BIOS Setup.
Shut down your laptop.
Turn it on and keep tapping F12.
Select CD/DVD drive from the boot device menu.
Press <Enter>
If F12 doesn't bring up the boot device menu, shut down again and try F11
