Anyone on Tom's playing War Thunder?

Just downloaded this last week on Steam and have a ton of hours in it already without spending a dime. Is anyone having as much fun in this game as I am or am I just happy to be playing something slightly out of the norm, for me? It is a F2P game with micro-transactions.

If you haven't joined a squadron yet please feel free to check out ours: -W4R- Warlords

Our only requirements are that you be 18+ and have a microphone. We are a diverse group with members spanning all continents. We have content experts that will help you with any countries plane or tank in any of the game modes (AB, RB, etc). While our usual flight day is Saturday there are friendly members always available to "squad up" 24 x 7. We look forward toward meeting you in the air or on the ground!

Do you need a Premium account to join a Squadron? Right now, I can squad up with 1 friend but it looks like you need a Premium account for Squad Up to work with more than 2 players.

Hi there! There is no need to have a premium account. The instant squad up feature allows our members to play in groups of four. When we do custom battles we get many more playing together. It would be great if you and your friends want to join our squadron. To sign up you need to be logged into your free (or premium) account. In the main menu there is a squadron selection. Once there search for -W4R- Warlords and click on the apply button for membership feature. One of our officers may invite you to an arcade match to explain some of the basic rules (like not harassing other members and be over 18). Feel free to let them know that I referred you. (I'm REC_gpayne the recruiting officer). Since you have a free account joining our squadron will be very helpful as other members are always there to provide tips on how to "grind" for mods and planes. Hope to see you there!
