Okay so i bought a Geforce Gtx 650Ti 2gb DDR3 for 60$ on ebay and i dont know if itll match with my pc here are my specs for my pc right now.
Processor: Amd fx(tm) 6120 six core processor 3.5ghz with 10 gb of ram
Card right now: Amd Radeon 7450 HD (Which sucks)
Heres the link to the Graphics card if you wanna get one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-GeForce-GTX650-2GB-384Bit-DDR3-PCI-E-3-0x16-DVI-HDMI-Graphics-Video-Card/310947686735?_trksid=p2047675.c100010.m2109&_trkparms=aid%3D555012%26algo%3DPW.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D23309%26meid%3D7303683326273706359%26pid%3D100010%26prg%3D9834%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D24%26sd%3D281345967496#payCntId

Awww, dude if you can, get your money back right now. It's a scam, sorry. There have been quite a few posts about that add (or very similar) all weekend.

To know if a real GTX 650 Ti would be compatible, your CPU will handle even better, RAM's good, What PSU? Specifically what is the total Watts and available Amps on the 12v rail?

I would be VERY worried about that too.

It lists as a 650 not 650 ti. It also lists a 384-bit memory bus. the 650 and 650 ti have 128-bit.

I goes on to list more memory bandwidth than it should as well as being DDR3 and not GDDR5.

Looks VERY much like a scam.

EDIT

See here is a 650 ti and 670. Both have slight factory overclocks, but you get the point.

Yes and other have liked an add that is similar in almost all aspects except that it's supposedly a GTX 660 (Ti iirc) from the same vendor.

It does not match any 650 or 650 ti Nvidia ever put out. It would look to fall into the too good to be true category.

As for your psu. Any quality 400-450 watt should be able to deal with such a card(with extra power for safety). I would just pop open the computer and check out the label to see what you have.

Yes unfortunately it's a scam as nukemaster said it falls into the too good to be true category.

P.S.: In the future, if you want to upgrade your GPU you will need to know what PSU you have.

With that PSU you're best going with a 750 or 750 Ti. 750's start at 110$ and 750 Ti's start at 140$

Hey Coolboy951,

You should get an image of the power supply. The problem with the total wattage is older power supplies did not have as much power dedicated to 12 volts because it was less used.

Right here I have a 300 watt with 14 amps @ 12 volts(168 watts) 18 amps @ 12 volts(216 watts) and 22 amps @ 12 volts(264 watts). Not that I place it in the recommended range (i picked parts with care and know exactly what I needed, it even has power left over in my case), I am running that GTX 650 ti on that unit :) . I have seen one as high as 24 amps @ 12 volts(288 watts) in a 300 watt unit.

So if you have something with 168 watts @ 12 volts, it is quite weak. I have seem 550 watt power supplies on the market with less than 22 amps @ 12 volts as well. Old designs still get sold because of the higher numbers(ie 550 watt so it must be good..).

Now these new power supplies are deigned in such a way that they are generally suitable for today's systems as well as older ones that are not as 12 volt heavy thanks to the dc-dc design they use to get the lower rails(3.3 and 5 volts) off of the 12 volt rail.
