ok so i just bought and installed a corsair h60 in my rig the install for this was... well it was hell i couldn't get this thing to fit anywhere. my case is a thermaltake v3 black which has top radiator vents but my mobo is to close to the top anywho the question i have is what are good temps for this cooler on a amd fx 6350 black box. the stock cooler would top out at around 52C after 10 minutes on full load i refused to go any longer in fear of ruing something and it idled at around 15 to 16C now the h60 idles at 14 to 15C i only let it sit for like 10 mins before checking and at full load it is still at 49C been going for around 40 mins and i am typing this while its still going. So are those good temps and what kind of room do i have for overclocking. Oh the base clock is 3.9ghz and the auto oc thing is 4.2ghz thanks for the time

If you really want to stress test, run Prime95 and run Furmark at the same time to really push the GPU at the same time. The GPU makes heat that the H100 will have flow through it on the way out. If you can keep it below 60 degrees, you should be fine to keep giving little bumps.

In the real world, your CPU or GPU will be the bottleneck in a game and both won't be running "wide open". The scenario is more of a worst case scenario test.

50 degrees or less is fabulous. As far as the clearance issue, mount the fan outside of the case, pulling the air out and screw into the rad sitting on the inside. Ugly, but works well. Did the same thing for my H80i in a push pull configuration. The "pull" fan is outside the case.
