Motherboard and CPU compatibility

Hi,

I was wondering if the:

CPU would be compatible with:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131965

because the motherboard is compatible with LGA 1155 but the CPU socket type is LG 1550.

Also any motherboard suggestions which would be around the same price range would be welcome.

No, they're not compatible. The sockets need to match. Look for a Z87 or Z97 motherboard for that CPU.
