Computer turns on then off

I know this is a fairly common question, but I just want to try and give all details for specificity.
So recently, I came back to find my computer switched itself off. When I tried to turn it back on, it was unresponsive. However, if I turns the mains switch off then on, it would power up for a few seconds and then shut down again, but just once.

On closer inspection, I looked inside to find my PSU's fuse had shattered, and it had overheated. This was a cheap 500W one... to be expected after a few months.

I then replaced it with a 750W PSU I had in my drawer. It turned on then off again.

I replaced the fuse in the power chord to make sure. Still the same problem.

I tried looking for loose screws/hardware. Starting it up with minimal hardware. Putting the cmos battery out and in again.

Edit: My 750W PSU came from when my motherboard blew out. It did the 'infinite turn on and off' problem. Long story short, I forgot about changing it back.

Any tips?

hugh this is a nasty problem. If i get things correctly your psu blew up, if it was a cheap one it could have expanded the damage to the motherboard. And if that happened your best bet would be to get another pc and try each component on your pc until you find the Damaged hardware. It could be anything, motherboard, ram, hdd maybe even the cpu (far bet). You already tried another psu and the pc its not working with it either so iam fairly sure some or maybe one other component its damaged.
