just recently this problem has started happening (may 26, same day as new drivers and watchdogs came out, to which i started experiencing the problem afterwards) My specs are

Operating System
Windows 8 64-bit
CPU
AMD A10-5700
Trinity 32nm Technology
RAM
17.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz
Motherboard
MSI 2AE0 (P0)
Graphics
HP W2072a (1600x900@60Hz)
2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 (EVGA)
Storage
1863GB Seagate ST2000DM001-9YN164 (SATA)
Optical Drives
hp DVD A DH16ACSHR

ive tried everything from installing new fans (thinking it was a overheating problem, which it wasnt. the cpu is running around 50c on average), trying new drivers, and i plan on borrowing another gpu to see if that is what is causing the problem. im running a 500w corsair cx500 psu which ive had for years and i don think that would be the problem. im really a noob when it comes to this stuff. but every couple of hours my display will just randomly crash, forcing me to hard reboot my computer. Id really appreciate help solving the problem.

Why would you have DDR3 RAM running at 665Mhz when that is a DDR1 speed? Anyway, make sure it is running at (usually) 1333MHz. Is your Windows 8 completely updated? Also, are there any blue screens of death and what do they say if there are?

To scout, i have tested 3 of my GPU's i own and the problem occurs with them as well. i have 18gb ram but for some reason only 17.4 is available. To you geo, i dont exactly know why either. im new to the whole computer thing and ive only had this one for about 2 years. there is no blue screen of death, it is just the audio (audio of what was currently on screen) looping fast while the monitor turns off. a complete crash. i have to hard reboot my computer. my windows 8 is updated with all the new updates. i could update it to 8.1 if you that would help. ps, i dont know how to control ram speed.

i just tested my psu today, it isnt the problem. i also have tried different drivers as well. at this point im not sure what the problem is. ive been monitoring my computer while under pressure of animating and playing games and the cpu spikes up to around 90% usage on all 4 cores if thats normal. if it was my motherboard how might have the problem happened and what can i do to fix that?

the model is a p7-1451 PC and i dont exactly know what or how to do that. stock motherboard still. the psu is 500w. ive ruled out the problem that it would be the psu. ive noticed in particular that when i run sniper elite V2 (a game) that my desktop almost crashes instantly, as to where any other game would take about an hour or two. i still need to hard reboot to get back to my desktop as well

i see, ive been running the 500w psu for 2 years now and havent ever had a problem with it. the problem still occurs even with the other psu. i switched them back out again. i might just get service done on my pc by a professional or something but i dont know where to start or how to explain what is happening. because it happens at the most random times
