Will my Sapphire HD7850 be able to support the VG248QE at 144Hz? I'm wondering this because according to the website (http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/product_index.aspx?pid=1654&lid=1[1] ), it says it has DualLink DVI which i'm guessing isn't DVI-D (the ports show DVI-I (DualLink), which the ASUS monitor needs to run at 1920 by 1080 at 144Hz. So will I be able put the DualLink DVI-D to my GFX Card's DualLink DVI-I slot and still be able to get 144Hz?

Yeah I don't mind waiting. I just want a really reliable answer that doesn't just include the word 'yes' or 'no'. I just don't want to waste NZD$500 on a monitor that can support 144Hz while my GPU can't support 144Hz.

You should be able to plug it in. There should be a dvi-d single and a dvi-i dual link in the back according to the picture provided. From my experience with my 5750, i was able to plug a dvi-d into a the dvi-i dual link, granted this was a different graphics card, i think you should be fine though.

So I can plug the DualLink DVI-D male cable that comes with the monitor into the DualLink DVI-I female in my GPU and connect the other DualLink DVI-D male cable into the VG248QE?
