Hey, I just recently got a comp for x-mas. And it runs terrible for medium-high gaming so I need some suggestions. I've come to the conclusion that I just need a psu and gpu.

Current specs:
A10-6700k (3.7GHz)
Integrated AMD Radeon HD 8670D
8 GB DDR3
PSU: 300w
Res: 1920x1080

Plans:
PSU: Corsair 500W http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139027
GPU: EVGA GTX 660 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130836'

Should that be enough to get my games to run at least a solid 30 frames on games like Dayz, BF4, Rust on medium-high graphics? And are these compatible with my current stuffs? Sorry I don't really have a wide knowledge when it comes to details in computers. Also these shouldn't bottleneck correcto? Thanks

Some AMD APUs and GPUs have the option to run in dual graphics mode, utilizing both the graphics of the APU and the GPU at the same time. I've been looking around a little and it seems that the HD 6670 should fit best with your APU. This card is a little weaker than the gtx660, but it's up to you. Two graphics running together is always better than just one, but I don't know if A10-6700 + HD 6670 beats a gtx 660.

I've been looking around and was recommended to check the gtx 750 ti and I was wondering if it would be just as good?http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Superclock-Dual-Link-Graphics-02G-P4-3753-KR/dp/B00IDG3IDO/ref=sr_1_6?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1401810307&sr=1-6&keywords=gtx+660+3gb+ddr5

Poor choice of words on my part. I know some cards in crossfire/SLI are weak compared to modern high end cards. But in OP's case, dual graphics might be preferable.

micro stuttering, drivers and multi GPU support is a major drawback in these types of configurations.

I would only add a 750ti to this build no new PSU needed, anything faster would need a new PSU but gives you options like R265 (AMDS faster answer to 750ti with higher PSU requirements) 270 270x 650ti boost and 660. Plus if you have any PC gaming friends it would be easy to sell and start your next build when you are done.
