My computer tends to freez for a few seconds. It just happens. It also freezes on boot. It hangs on "pleas wait" for 30-60 seconds. Also, when I get to my desktop, it also freezes. That happens on boot every time, and it freeezes randomly while running (weather I'm gaming, watching a movie, browsing...) This started to happen when I got a new PSU. The PSU is OK, but the old one could have damadged the capacitors, although I can't see any that are blowed. Any help?

It started happening when I did a clean install of windows 7. It's strange, I have been running Windows 7 on this PC since it came out. I did get a new GPU about a year ago, but that's not ht eproblem... I think.

CPU Core2Duo @ 2.4 GHz
ASUS P5LD2SE
RADEO hd 4830 (1 gb)
HMS 500W PSU
WD 320 GB HDD
It's old, I know, but's it's good. MY money is either the system or the motherboard.
Well, the capacitators are usually bigger that usual, and MUCH more rounded on the top. They even sometimes start to leak on the top due to prsure. Everything is OK in my PC as far as the capatitators.
And yes, don't blame me on the PSU. I didn't have any more money...

No. That is the first thing that came to my mind. The HDD is OK.
