Hi, so, there's a lot to write here so I'll keep the intro short.
Basically, I have, technically, a better PC than my friend does. Alas, on a modded minecraft version he gets ~100 fps, whereas I get ~80 fps.
Here's where it makes no sense, the specs:
My stuff on the left, his on the right:
R9 270x / GeForce 650 TI
FX 6100 @ 4.4 / FX 6300 @ 3.5
Same ram
GA970-UD3P / MSI P21-FX
Hitachi 3 GB/s, 5400 RPM / Seagate 7200 RPM, 6GB/s
We both ran the same texture pack, same mods, looked at the same spot in the map, same options, all drivers updated - Java and GPU
Q#1: is the new architecture CPU the reason why his client runs faster?
or
Q#2: is the way faster HDD the reason?
All help appreciated
P.S. I run the server, the modpack is FTB Monster and it requires quite the ram.. Could that be it?
